  • Wherever you're staying on Fuerteventura, try some days to rent a car or a trip with taxi or bus to do on this beautiful island! And from this mirador (the building itself was designed by the famous architect Cesar Manrique) you get a unique, sublime views of the ochre-coloured volcanoes and valleys as far as the eye can see. There can be a strong, cool wind.. sweater! Inside, you'll find a small but interesting exhibition on various aspects of the island. A small cafe offers the possibility to enjoy the panorama from behind the floor-to-ceiling Windows.

  • The route to the spot was scary but the views - magnificent. Extremely windy. When we were there the restaurant was closed but in general very nice place to have some snack or drink.  more »
  • On our way to Betancuria we came across this place with the most amazing view. We were lucky to be here on a day with few clouds, so we felt we could see all over the island and also part of Lanzarote...  more »

  • This viewpoint was designed by Lanzarotes architect and artist César Manrique. It holds stunning views over the island, but you need the right day for it. If it is foggy, you could be disappointed. So wait for a clear day – to go early is a good idea. When the restaurant is closed, the road of the viewpoint is closed to. Than you have to walk up your way.
  • Great place! Incredible view! You can see both coasts. Windy so take jacket (wind-stopper)!
  • Awesome views! You can also get some refreshments while learning a thing or two about the island (there's quite some display). A mandatory stop over on your way to Betancuria :)
  • Well worth the drive there! Great view - but remember to bring a jacket, quite windy and chilly
  • Great view, interesting history presentation, nice tables with a very poor coffee shop, just very little on the menu (missed opportunity)
