  • Emblematic and very attractive place with a single feature, the place between the populations close to the place and all questions answer you the same is a place with a free weekend on a set schedule, but everyone knows the person who holds the keys of the place and its number to which you can access and arrange a visit to the place , the surprise is that they charge you €25, the same, that if, without any proof. If you have chance to visit her doing so is very interesting, in all aspects and the area it is known as the Sistine Chapel of Extremadura, but better to do it in days in which the visit is completely free.

  • It is a marvel to found these frescoes in such good condition. The entrance is free and the person that we attended very friendly. That Yes, the visit can last a few minutes, so it is interesting some another visit as for example visit Llerena or harvest plan (close to have the ruins of a fortress in Queen or a Roman Theatre).

  • After visiting the Jayona mine, closer to see this amazing Sanctuary which is a few kilometres away. It is a church of mudejar and Baroque inspiration that out, draws little attention but enter literally leaves you speechless. The walls and vaults are covered with frescoes of great beauty and colorful representing biblical scenes. I am not surprised that it considered the Sistine Chapel of Extremadura
