  • Not a very large park , great to kill a few hours , it was lovely & clean the animals all looked well looked after & happy  more »
  • I gave 5 points because it deserves all, be small however there are lots of animals kept very well in very fresh and characteristic the Bioparc is located within a city with 2 garages very comfortable although a little expensive for 5/6 hours immersed in nature, I highly recommend it

  • A fantastic animal park. You should attend all performances and tours. (Quick) dining restaurant was expensive and the dire state of the food (to our tastes).

  • Just spent the afternoon at Bioparc Fuengirola- seriously impressive use of space and enclosure design. The old zoo was demolished to make way for naturalistic enclosures with interesting and beautiful spaces for animals and visitors alike. A really lovely experience and so great to see a complete overhaul of inappropriate and outdated facilities. It was great to see educational material explaining the build of the zoo and why the old one was demolished. There was a real emphasis on animal welfare and naturalistic enclosures. It was nice that we didn't see all the animals as there were plenty of places for them to escape the heat but as the zoo is fairly small in size we were able to revisit enclosures later on in our visit to spot the animals then. A small but very clever zoo and an affordable day trip for all ages. Plus I found a binturong, the popcorn smell gave her away before I spotted her. I would have liked to have seen more use of flexible materials (ropes and vines) as all the structures were very rigid but in all I think that was a small negative to a very positive zoo experience 😊
  • Well laid out with informative information on all the animals. Avoid the hot afternoons to see more active animals. The habitats are well laid out with lots of good viewing spots. Cafe food is available but bring your own food and drinks of you like. A lot of care and thought has gone into providing naturalistic and stimulating environments for the animals but I still don't like to see primates such as gorillas and chimps in captive conditions, even if they are so well looked after. Perhaps it's an unavoidable circumstance of these primates' earlier lives in other zoos. Whilst not a cheap afternoon out, my 14yr old, 8yr old and myself really enjoyed our 3 hours there and is recommend this place for a visit.
  • We loved it it. It's wonderfully designed, every part is perfected and thought through, plants are amazing and the animals are well kept. It's lovely for adults and very nice and safe for kids. The lemur island is great too. The design of the place is just perfect.
  • Was a gorgeous zoo, really does stand up to its reputation of being a 'naturalistic' zoo. Had a great time, and the show was absolutely adorable; you really have to see it if you go! Only thoughts were: tiger enclosure looked a little small (think about how much space they have in the wild) and would have liked more lettuce in my burger
  • A small but amazing zoo with very great animals. It's clean and has very friendly staff. Possibility to eat. The enclosures are lovely designed, but could in some cases be a little bit bigger.
