Cala Saona, Formentera
(2.8/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web)
Cala Saona is a beach set in a bay surrounded by turquoise water, white sand, and red cliffs. While the facilities are simple, including lounge chairs and a beach bar, you won’t need anything besides the setting for satisfaction. The water is calm enough for swimming, and the sand doesn’t get too crowded with tourists. Sunset is a spectacular sight from this beach. • All of the island is unic, this beach is very nice, too. It is a small one with small water ideal for children and for families. To tell the truth, i think it could be full and popular during summer, ...  more »
  • I don't think he's up to the other beaches of Formentera and Moreover the day we arrived it was impossible to get wet because there were several small jellyfish. It's very nice walk over costa and shelter of small ancient fishing boats with a small house of guardians which seems to be still in use. To visit if you have several days otherwise I would opt for other most charming beaches.

  • Very crowded. And it is not for less. The water is crystal clear, something that had not ever seen up to that end (and have the snorkel as a hobby). The pretty place, the quay of the small wooden boats to see gives a touch of charm. And there are many fish for snorkeling. Contra: this crowded.
