  • Surely there is reason, but something must be done to solve the deplorable state of the bulls of Estepina Pkaza

  • Beautiful place or you can visit the Museum of palacontology museum (bullfighting) and or you can find beautiful streets with these flower pots!

  • Only with there bull ring already is a reason to celebrate for those who appreciate this holiday. The situation is also quite original and the only thing I can add is that I would like that you use most often as possible.

  • . The Plaza de Toros in Estepona is very near the marina - just across the main road. It is also the first, and last, stop on the 79 bus route from Marbella via Puerto Banus. Modern (ish) it was built in 1972, and it is unique in Spain (although there's another like it in Mexico) because it isn't round but elliptical - sort of oval shaped. You can see this from inside. And you can get inside without having to see a bullfight! On Sunday mornings there's a "Rastro" - a flea market - in there; the entrance is round the back of the bullring. That's often quite fun, and of course you can combine it with a visit to the main Sunday mercadillo (market) in the marina, and have a nice coffee or beer (or G&T) in one of the harbour-front bars. There are other events too, especially in the summer months, with an open-air cinema in the school holidays, and Pop concerts too. Details on the Tourist Office website. The other attraction at the bullring are the four small museums there (Tuesday - Sunday 9.00 - 16.00): the Palaeontological museum (nice dinosaur skeletons for the kids), the Ethnological museum (some very good exhibits of old-fashioned fishing and farming implements), the Image and Sound museum, and above all the Bullfighting museum, with some excellent exhibits of bullfighter's costumes. These are round the side of the building. Actual bullfighting? Very little nowadays, thank goodness. Just the occasional one a couple of times a year. there's no longer an audience for it, you see. .
  • The skewers are great, the moussaka is spectacular and also the Tenderloin in puff pastry. We went on Friday night and it was full, but attended us fast. It was also cheap to take account of the development of skewers. Great, we scored it in agenda if we return to Estepona.

  • Very interesting and free, the Museum, they explain much about the plaza. The square was inaugurated on June 4, 1972 with a sign formed by a few very famous matadors: Luis Miguel Dominguín, Miguelin and Paquirri. It is the first asymmetric plaza de toros of the world, it is designed to ensure maximum comfort and shade for spectators. There are sports competitions, cultural shows, concerts, etc. Below are the bullfighting Museum and the Museum of paleontology
