  • Already the journey by Escalona to the Canyon is promising and bridges and goes enough at some point about a one-way street through a gorge with numerous to watch. You do best even before the official parking lot parking, because this is already in the morning well stocked in the summer. At the beginning of the Gorge you can visit an old stone bridge and a Hermitage incl. Chapel is preserved. Penetrating deeper into the Gorge, you can catch some beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the waterfalls in the Valley, however it runs most of the time on stony paths through the Woods. The map, which we have received in the tourist office in Escalona, did not really smarter us, as unique KM were missing information. After talks with other tourists we decided to reverse us sometime. In hindsight, I would see the Canyon 1 hour and run to the first major waterfalls, stop me there and then reverse. From the entrance of the Gorge, and on the return journey you have better views than in the Gorge.

  • After leaving the car in the parking lot, a path along the beautiful River, leads us on a journey circular 2.5 km, suitable for all ages. Transiting between abundant lichens reached the ruins of the mill of Aso (better not think of what supposed to commune with those wheels), numerous pools that invite you to bathe, the cascade of Aso in which the more intrepid can Rappel, Ermita de San Úrbez excavated in rock and bridge of the same name in which you should not forget make a wish and look down.
