  • In Catalonia, in the heart of the Lleida Pyrenees, surrounded by spectacular scenery, is the Boí Valley. Their small mountain villages retain a set of Romanesque churches of the 11th and 12th centuries, well preserved and in perfect harmony with the environment. In the year 2000 were declared world heritage by UNESCO. The Church of Santa Eulàlia in Erill-la-Vall was declared a historic artistic monument in 1962. The belfry is six floors, with an overall height of 23 meters. A sculptural group of the 12th century, known as the descent, which has been moved to the Episcopal Museum of Vic was found in this church. In Erill la Vall is the center of the Romanesque of the Valley of Boi, located next to the Church of Eulàlia, whose permanent exhibition can admire and learn about the set of the nine Romanesque churches of the Vall de Boí.

  • This 12th century church with one central nave was thoroughly restored. Again, a Lombard, Square Tower with six floors. On one side an indoor Portal over whole length of the Church. Within a small museum with some vestiges of altarpieces from 16th to 18th centuries.

  • Worth a wander through here, a small church, which is worthwhile to see. You can buy a pass to visit 3 or more churches or museums and leaves you very account, and party know that you are contributing to conservation. It is near Barruera.
