Difficult access and a next to a small town, no doubt the visit worthwhile. Filled with small waterfalls and pools in which a refreshing dip, this place is ideal for a dip when the heat in summer. You must carry food and drink, because there is nothing about where to buy. In summer, you have to go early to catch "good site" Super recommended

One more year I visit the natural park of Enguídanos. The frills of the river Cabriel. A place with tremendous views over a kilometer and half, where you can enjoy an environment worth seeing in the midst of nature. The tufas, along its entire length, contains different areas with pools, Rapids, caves, even natural slides caused by the erosion of the water and the different weather affecting this area year after year. With family, with friends, couple... The tufas covers any type of visit and is really well suited to any situation with incredible shade and rest areas. This year I found two aspects to comment for future visitors:-makes a year or two, I could access the frills to the same door to them, and can park in delimited areas, which were still more comfortable visit. Now, these zones are not enabled, are private land where parking is not allowed. In fact, now there is to park on the main road 3 km walk. (Eye! persons with reduced mobility, elderly or families with infants or toddlers) If you have luck, and there is no overcrowding will allow you enter until a next area located 1.5 km from the entrance. -On the other hand this time I found areas of waste without trying to close to the public areas of the frills. IF VISITING THESE AREAS, PLEASE, RESPECT!

I was going to leave an opinion after my last visit (a Wednesday in August) by the disappointed was, after many years going in the summer (except the last) since every year going with my family at the end of agosto-principios of September, which is still hot. But before, I have started to read some reviews that it already had, and good... I understand more things. Firstly, it's nature, it is normal that it is "difficult", it is not an amusement park. Therefore, I do not understand the complaints and complaints about this. For people who are used to go to the mountain and enjoy it, hiking, etc. This is nothing, what is curves? Okay, normal. What you expected? The same as the comments that it is dangerous. It is as dangerous as you ask it, if you expect a day at the beach, ERROR. I repeat, it is a river, it is nature, accept it as it is, be careful. Where are you going with fridge and umbrella? Mountain boots and sneakers to walk in water, and water in a backpack, no longer need more to enjoy the landscape. On the other hand... that have closed the entrance road and parking. Painful. I have understood (but not confirmed) that it has been selling a few individuals of the houses that had been at the entrance. The close parking and not having a suitable, well, one is simply dangerous, all the cars on the side of the road. But driveway leading to another track that could access the top of the frills, which is where my family and I were when he started to massively below. Which makes me wonder if it is legal, because... is can ban a path so as well? Perhaps what he did that on my last visit there was less people that us had used (still had it) was precisely this fact, cutting access and parking. But continues to be disappointing for us, that really coming long, enjoying the environment, and above all, taking care of it (very important not to leave tracks of your visit). However, the place is still awesome, the waters are clean and frost. In conclusion, I do not know who will be the blame (visitors, owners of the people...?) since even in the village you can park decently... But of course, since it's an attraction that could bring revenue to the village, does not seem that they want to or take advantage of it. As well as the castle with the in town... with an investment of more than 400,000 euros to rehabilitate and preserve the heritage... but it is closed in the middle of August and it cannot be visited. Anyway. We don't know if we'll go back... but I know that it is not likely in the months of July and August. Which is a shame, because we loved.
