  • Shameful is that charge €10 per car more €2 per person. It is an outrage, I know the site for years and is beautiful. But charge that amount to go to the field? Are we crazy? If at least take a maintenance, but it is that they do not keep anything, access is very bad and saturated car and you have to Park away from the parking lot over not only charge on weekends, but that charge you at the holidays in the city of Madrid, scoundrels giblets. If it were a symbolic contribution of € 3 would understand, but enriched in this way... Certainly don't think again in many years, neither I nor my environment because it is a real estafa.es a shame that try to profit from a place so.

  • The truth is that at this time, it is a wonder to visit him, the leaves of the trees, with such different colors, and different trunks of the trees, and you can also catch chestnuts

  • Today I went to visit the Castanar of el Tiemblo (remember when, 3 years ago, made the visit, always on November 9 with that of el Ávila is not party, and to flee from the crowds of weekend)... the first unpleasant surprise has been having to pay a municipal fee of 6 euros per car, and 2 euros for each adult person... the second surprise has been that I've had to park more of one kilometer from the parking of Castañar due to agglomeration of visitors... more than a visit to a chestnut Grove, has been a pilgrimage... because I've gone in a row all the way... it seems that Madrid has gotten there. Del castañar itself is still beautiful (has been the only thing pretty)... but not seen with so many people and so many cars. The way back (once you have already paid), an authentic rompecoches... since they charge, could well enable a decent road access and exit. Del castañar itself is small (del castañar road are little more than 4 kilometers), in fact, visits him in a morning. If you have intention to visit it, flee from the holidays... because it is, simply, not it is fit. Del castañar is small, if you really love nature and no matter you walk between pine and chestnut trees, my advice is that you leave the car in the people themselves, and you go up to walk to del castañar, only they driven you 2 euros... but this Yes will mean that you have to go there to take the day. Another tip. If you love mountain bike... to see, you can practice, but it is not the best place. Crowded place, dogs without strap... or tensile straps, Feral children... and the trail is of itself quite demanding, not worth any bike or any rider. Del castañar requires at least able to take a bike on mountain, but with the overcrowding that exist, I advise against it you: the probability that you take something or someone by front, that you star or ill take a stone trying to dodge an animal or a visitor are very high.
