  • Castro de El Raso is a veton settlement consisting of several walled enclosures and in it found archaeological remains that are, mostly, in the Museum of Avila. In the castro is has rehabilitated two dwellings to shelter an interpretation centre that provides information on the site. It is a castro of the iron age and remains of a wall. It was occupied from the end of the 3RD century BC until the middle of the 1st century b.c., moment in which is abandoned in a forced way, due to the Roman conquest. A jewel to better understand the Iberian culture. In the town of El Raso, there is a small Center of interpretation that can be visited before or after going through the Castro and that will help us to better understand the place.

  • Place for visiting, good recovery and would be fantastic recover the rest, and privileged environment, perfect understanding of the place with his dexcriptivos posters, a penalty that cannot be more accessible site for which romperiamos value of natural recovery. As negative comment the lack of signage from the highway and evil State of the access road.
