  • You can visit individually and is often to give a donation of 1 euro for its reconstruction. With guide not be as serious because on that day the service was not available. This church was built a year after the discovery of America, still later the every Doge of the Medinaceli which gave it another boost, taking successive stages of reconstruction over time until the 17TH century. It has two doors, one of forgiveness or campaigns which was the first original and the other Sol coinciding with the period of the Dukes of Medinaceli. Consists of three main premises, the central of greater height than the other two, and two chapels on the sides of the transept containing the Altar of the Madonna of the miracles, and the Tabernacle. Laterally they offer small chapels belonging to different fraternities and sororities of the town. Notably, the organ and the choir stalls as well as the neo-classical BALDACCHINO in the apse, currently has better lighting but is this waiting for a major restoration, which of late arrival will jeopardize true architectural treasures of the same. Schedules; L, M, Mi. V 09.30 13.00 and 18.00-19.30: Thursday: 09,30 to 13.00 and 18.00 19.00. Saturday: 09,30 to 12,00 and from 18.00 to 19, 30 h. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

  • Beautiful church located in the plaza of Spain in the city. Personally I think that you would need some kind of restoration since it seems quite neglected. However, it is worth visiting it and take fish fried in one of the bars around.

  • The largest church of el Puerto de Santa María is in the heart of the city, in the Plaza of Spain, and its status is quite unfortunate, need a deep upgrade. The outer columns are in bad condition.
