  • A pity that having a jewel not will lend him the attention that it deserves. Open to the public, without any information, admission is free.

  • It is a pity that is not nothing, must have been beautiful but now only the outer wall, could only be assessed if events will be held inside as theatrical re-enactments of medieval times.

  • We stayed at the Barco de Ávila a weekend, and we could see the people. It caught my attention the Castle, I am a fan of them and their history, may have helped the historical series of recent times. I could not go there without seeing it, the evening seems clear spectacular, seen from the outside. When we entered the Sunday I took a huge disappointment. It was a parade ground vacuum, only there was a setting for events. Who believes that it is very well preserved, or he has not seen the castle we saw another one. As I have read other traveller, is would have appreciated a plate with its history. I have visited several of the community and has to say that there are many better preserved than this. In Castilla y León countless are those who are in: Fuensaldaña, Medina del Campo, Simancas, Peñafiel, Torrelobatón (in Valladolid), Coca, Cuellar (in Segovia), to name a few.
