Aqualand El Arenal provides a world of watery thrills. Careen down waterslides, splash in an array of swimming pools, and ride inner tubes down river rapids. Steep drops, completely dark tunnels, and fast bends are just a few of the features you’ll encounter on the rides here. Lovely day spent here, although lockers and sunbeds are expensive. Slides are good, and the park is well run.

Tickets are expensive and you should take the fast pass if you do not wanna be frustrated(10euros) so you will pay 38euros per person me which is a lot but not more than another attraction parks. Bad reviews comes from the fact that people are seeing this place like a swimming pool but it is more like an attraction park. Yes you have to pay for a locker but if you go in group you will pay one or two euros per person. Yes you can buy expensive food but you can also bring your own meal. Yes you can pay for a chair but you can also sit one the grass. I do not think this park should get such bad reviews. The attractions are also great and if you take the fast pass you will not wait more than 15-20minutes for almost all attractions. One bad thing however is the very unfriendly staff.
The park is interesting for all those, who are looking for great and big waterslides. Waterslides, you will not find in countries like germany. You should keep in mind, that this is the only reason to visit this park. For that great waterslide experience, you should accept queues at least of 20-30 min (06.09.2016). The strategy of the park is, to get the number boats per visitors constant to reduce personal coasts and attrition. That leads to the fact, that you have to wait always on attractions like king cobra.
This place is very expensive for what it is, and you'll spend most of your time in line. There are huge queues for everything. They make you wait in line for a inflatable ring, then wait again to get on the slide. Some of them took 40 mins for a 20 second slide. They also make you pay extra charges for everything. You have to pay 5€ for a locker, 4€ for each lounger, and they push you to buy an express pass for 10€ which many of their slides don't even accept. The only way to get food in the park is to buy from their food vendors, which don't even tell you the price until you have ordered. 2 cokes and a pizza cost 21.50€. Try to bring your own food, although they treat people picnicking like vermin. It was a very disappointing experience.
Rides are generally good, our least favourite was the new Cobra one which has a long wait for a boring tube ride with a brief gimmick at the end and then it's a long time before you actually get to get off the ride. Tornado (better name would be Plughole) was brilliant. The Fastpass is essential, good value at 10€ and with it, queues aren't too long. Food was very expensive with long waits and no prices displayed. You can take your own and eat it off the grass; there aren't any picnic tables. Car parking, loungers, lockers are all charged for. Worst thing: there are no water fountains.
The park is not value for money. The admission fee is expensive especially when you take into account all the add on fee like for a locker, benches etc. You should bring your own picnic instead of queing for unhealthy, expensive food with bad service. I bought fast passes for the family which was expensive and ineffective because there is no extra service for fast pass guests since people are queing anyway in the lane with or without the pass and no staff member monitoring it. Long lines waiting for all the slides so we didnt get to enjoy many trips down the slides. The slides we did get to try, we really enjoyed though.
