  • It is the visit to the mines that during the 1940s of the 20th century for the survival of the inhabitants of the region. It describes in detail the hardness of the working conditions and is interesting for children and adults. In addition to the visit, exhibit at the beginning, a brief documentary about his story narrated in first person by the own mine what arouses the curiosity, and gives it a touch of romanticism to what actually is the visit to a few simple mines. Nice and very neat. It is a good choice in the area.

  • We were the family to spend the day in the area, we had to book before, being Easter I was full. We thought that we would find more references and inside we would go with cart or similar. The price is high

  • Okay, for children very well, but for adults a little boring! The price a bit high, the train serves only connection between the two mines that are visited on foot! If these children is an excellent choice, as adventure, but didactic level it would do something more!

  • Extremely interesting historical park, showing how the mine used to function. We were lucky and got Sandy as our guide, she spoke English as well as Spanish, she was able to explain some things that I did not understand in English also - all the literature around the park is in Spanish, valenciano and English. Most of the guides are local, as were the people that worked in the mines in the fifty's, work that was extremely hard and poorly paid ( though not as poor as the farm labour, that was the other option). So if you go and don't speak Spanish be sure to ask for Sandy!. Open all year round, shut Tuesdays though.
  • Highly recommended to visit with children (and schools). We enjoy the guided tour and walk through the galleries. Very honest in describing what there is, what it was and what it meant for the region.
