  • As a lover of history in general and of the middle ages in particular, visit places like this is a privilege. The village is one of the most beautiful of the province of Burgos. The guided visit to the tower is very pleasant and siege weapons exhibition is amazing. No doubt a very good place for anyone who wants to move a few centuries ago.

  • medieval tower very nice although not visit him inside to the general public, is located in the Centre of the village in a cobbled square at its time of splendor, surrounded by the same medieval style with small arcades with tourist shops.

  • It is a tower's great height and solidity to what was common in the 10th century, where he began to build. It has a foreign stamp within the set of traditional architecture that offers the plaza in which stands imposing. His foreign visit is certainly at least essential. It is a privately owned building and inside have decided to expose a set of medieval weapons, some real size and other are scale reproductions, ranging from swords and maces to catapults. The cost of the ticket is something superior to the collegiate church, but in return offers a surprising dip in the history of the tower and of the technical military medieval, from the hand of a guide who is very friendly and with great capacity informative in their explanations about the use of various war materials, which includes the Tower , on which explains the why was built in a way or another thinking about its defensive purpose. To little curiosity that is has, is a visit very entertaining, even for children, and of which is can learn things in that not had repaired before about the life of the middle ages. The duration is of about an hour. We entered by the interest to see the inside of the Tower, but the explanations in the Guide to the exhibition which houses us engaged and we liked the visit much more than expected. I would recommend everyone to go there.

  • Simply spectacular guided visit!

  • Impressive Tower. And terrifying legend that tells that his father, Earl, had poor Doña Urraca locked for life for not wanting to be married a Prince when she loved to a peasant of Covarrubias. Some say it was walled.

  • It is a picturesque place, which welcomes in few meters a cruise, a laundry room, the tower and the House of Doña Sancha. You have to see it.
