We had gone several years without visiting Covarrubias, but over the years where we spent several days staying there never had been able to enter to see the tower. And finally, this year we note that it is open and with an exhibition of siege weapons to visit. Impressive place, weapons that teach you, and above all the explanations that the Guide gives you. The six best worn euros of my trip. But above all, to see the interior of the tower and gardens. It is worth.

Take advantage of a Mozarabic Tower of the q nothing remains except the external structure to put copies of ancient weapons and base on that throughout the visit... is not exactly what you expect when you pay 6 euros per person. It is an excessive price. Guide defended their work, it seemed rigorous, but I do not think that anyone has on expectations a visit as the q we have received...

We went to Covarrubias to see the place where rests the Norwegian Princess Kristina and by chance we found a super exhibition is medieval weapons. As I am a great fan of this period in the history of Spain, no doubt it nothing and enter. First we were surprised that guided tour is included in the price of admission. And what wonder! What way to explain and tell the story, with examples, everyday language, jokes, etc. Really one leaves there almost eager to repeat the visit, because we loved the people, the Guide and the exhibition, very well achieved... in hindsight have known that the Guide, in addition to a super Professional is the owner of the Tower, which makes us understand the enthusiasm and clarity with which tells his story and how knows it well what so fantastic way to tell it has. In addition, the exhibition of replicas in actual size and scale of medieval siege weapons worth a lot, because we have truly functional parts and that, once more, thanks to the guide just imagine how it would work in the battles. Really had an entertaining, educational, and at some point experience filled with magic, made us partakers of the history of Doña Urraca, her father and pastor... the only complaint we have is that not we've been able to lead us to this magnificent Guide for the rest of our route... But back to Covarrubias, safe!

  • The tower is very well maintained and is original. Please come to see her on the inside, although it is a little expensive.
