  • The Church it is possible to visit it freely within their opening hours in the morning and in the evening, but to access to the cloister and the four rooms of the Museum is to pay an affordable entry. The visit of these rooms is made with a guide who will explain what we are finding, and its duration round half an hour. In the cloister are remains of the ancient Romanesque cloister, as well as the austere tomb of the Norwegian Princess Kristina and the Gothic arch of the current playground. The four rooms of the Museum contain, in the first a series of Romanesque and Gothic sculptures of Virgin with child and other interesting sculptural pieces, the second a coffered ceiling quite well preserved and shrines of Saints in the area, there is an extensive collection of liturgical clothes of the past five hundred years in the third, and the fourth is the well-known Flemish triptych of the Adoración de los Magos and other series of paintings of that time. At the end there is a small stand selling souvenirs. For who likes art, a visit to this small museum is highly recommended. In the interior of the Church is the curious pulpit, altarpiece which can illuminate a euro for a while and enough samples of funerary art of Notables. Graves, next to the altar include the Roman tombs of the Fourth century hosting the remains of Fernán González and his wife Sancha; This last is the more colorful. In final, is a visit of much interest for fans to the art and to the history, that not requires too much time or money.

  • We went to Covarrubias to know the village and the Church was a precious find. Free visit (there are guided tours cost).

  • A former collegiate church, not too careful of which would highlight very good training and readiness of the guide that we personalize the visit,

  • It is a beautiful Collegiate Church which, while not spectacular, is well preserved. The guided visit to the cloister and Museum is short and enjoyable.
