We are with the car to Estacion via Verde. Many parking spaces there for the car. There is a small restaurant, public toilet and a bicycle rental. There we have two bikes rented for a ride on the ' trein'pad. Saddle is adjusted. Always fine. On the map you get there was explained what you could drive with in mind the back road. To the first bar is 15 km. There you can go to the toilet and something of a limited choice food. For us it was roll lomo favorite; easy roll with hot piece of meat there between. We took another one. Then begins the retreat and if you don't often ride you need to take the time. It is now mountain and sometimes best style; you did not for nothing so good down, haha. En route scenic views. Once back we had the bad luck that the landlord had locked his store here and was home to eat. The waiter of the restaurant pointed out to us and was thus free to take with him to call. Meanwhile we took a cup of tea in the restaurant. The waiter reported after the phone call that he had the key and take Affairs in order; He set the cycling again within and came the legitimacy (escrow) will be back. And without having to pay for the tea we could continue on path. In itself fine again resolved. The tunnels along the way are a fun experience; especially if especially for you on the light goes as you drive into it. In short recommended but don't consciously choose how far you ride. The entire ride to end point is about 35 km and there are the rental bikes then again just too much bike for rent. Mine switched not quite tasty.

This is a great fairly easy rail trail ride if you ride from olvera to Puerto Serrano. There is a cafe at Corripe where you can recharge and refresh for the second half of the trip. As many have menti...  more »

Maybe August is not the ideal month to travel this beautiful bike path, 35 degrees feel all afternoon. We opted to do the route in the opposite direction than recommended by Guide and locals: from Puerto Serrano in the morning is easier to deal with a moderate but steady climb until Olvera. 36 km without ever finding a dining area open! In those meetings (closed) there is however the possibility to have clean water to drink and cool off. Even at Olvera everything "serrado", just a drinks machine coin operated (obtainable). The 36 km of re-entry are more sustainable! Wonderful experience, great scenery, fascinating the glow-in-the-tunnel passage (in both directions), the Griffins in flight and suspension bridges along the trail. Exhausting but also because it is not supported by services!
