You will have had your history and will be experienced best moments, but what is now... Well known and famous for the Cordoba, but I think that we should give you a little more than game. Very photographed.

A beautiful octagonal tower of the 15th century making defense of rincon. I crossed and it's a nice building but nothing special if it weren't for the legend who sees it built for atonement by a Knight who had killed his wife believed disloyal. Well worth the look.

Another gateway to the city. In good condition but not accessible to the public. Right for a photo and go.

  • Good
  • A reference point to navigate in Cordoba, next to the school of social sciences and Plaza de Colon, impressive fortress steeped in history, unfortunately not open to visitors, has been, and not if it is still the seat of the Cordoba Chess Federation

  • A beauty that takes us to the past just by looking at it! A beautiful piece that take us to past just looking at it!

  • This Watchtower is one of the most popular in Córdoba. It is closed to the public, but for a few years it was quite affordable because it was headquarters of the Federation of chess. Isn't it great? The headquarters of the Federation of chess is a tower. A pity that does not continue using it.

Where to stay in Cordoba

To experience the heart of Cordoba's old-world charm, the famous Jewish Quarter, or Judería, offers an array of family-owned pensions and boutique hotels with close proximity to the city's main attractions and lively tapas culture. A number of newer hotels surround the local train and bus stations offering more spacious accomodations, although removed from the city's historical district. Above all, be sure to book a hotel equipped with air conditioning as Cordoba is famous for its scorching tempuratures during the late spring and summer.
