  • Built by King Henry III of Castile in the 15th century as a defensive structure for the gates adjacent. Eventually it was used as a prison for mobiles. Now a landmark and sight of the city of Seville....  more »
  • a tower without much sense in middle of the road and nothing interesting around only stores of Chinese food and a clinic of teeth

  • About the Torre de la Malmuerta, not be if I wrote something, (the rush are bad counselors) if so, I tell you anything else, the name of this tower is by the following, belongs to the old wall and it is said that a gentleman in the 15th century killed his wife by adulterous , and once it became clear that it was not true, apologized to King Enrique III of Castile, and told him that she forgave him but that condemned him to build this tower (a somewhat strange forgiveness) by what is called the Mal.muerta , another legend is as follows: If someone goes galloping under the arch and is able to read the inscription that is on the wall, you will see the Tower collapsing and will be shown a treasure and is what will give.

  • A beautiful monument. The origin of his name is lost in time between numerous legends and tales that have been attempted to create the inhabitants of Córdoba in his spare time.

  • It was built between 1406 and 1408 by order of Don Enrique III of Castile. The origin of its name is unknown, although the legend based it on that a woman died dam within its walls: a Knight killed his wife to believe her guilty of adultery; to realize his mistake he built the Tower in memory of his spouse that by succumbing without guilt, had been badly dead. It's a defensive Watchtower Hebraic, attached to the walls of the Ajerquia by means of a bridge with wide semicircular arch. The line's construction is of Arab tradition. Under the protection of the generic declaration of the Decree of April 22, 1949, and the law 16/1985 on the Spanish historical heritage.
