Where to stay in Cordoba

To experience the heart of Cordoba's old-world charm, the famous Jewish Quarter, or Judería, offers an array of family-owned pensions and boutique hotels with close proximity to the city's main attractions and lively tapas culture. A number of newer hotels surround the local train and bus stations offering more spacious accomodations, although removed from the city's historical district. Above all, be sure to book a hotel equipped with air conditioning as Cordoba is famous for its scorching tempuratures during the late spring and summer.

  • The architecture is not as interesting here as it is in many other large Spanish cities but there are lots of places to eat and many nice shops and boutiques. A good place to have lunch.  more »
  • A buzzy place to eat and people watch. Sit in the sun and eat lunch, have coffee or breakfast . There is a sort of market in the shady arches surrounding the square selling tatty antiques, old postcar...  more »
  • During the night it's of people drinking and eating - beer, ham, sausages, tapas, wine... Nice and cheap to eat/drink. During the day it's also nice and busy square.  more »

  • Probably one of the best places in town (in the world?). Only good memories come to my mind when I think in this square. Try to have a beer in one of its terraces at night!
  • Beautiful old renaissance palace, converted into apartments and shops, restaurants and cafes, with a central de abastos featuring butchers, greengrocers, fishmongers, bakers. Sit outside and have a meal under an umbrella on the large and inviting plaza, or take your chances at a kebob place. Great spot to while away an hour or two, grab some food to take back to your lodgings.
  • Somewhat off paths, but worth it. This place is really beautiful!
  • Lovelly for tapas and cañas
  • Great plaza for restaurants bars etc .. great outdoor atmosphere in the evenings .. busy place
