Plaza de la Corredera is an exciting square thought to have once been part of a historical amphitheater’s entrance. Now, it’s filled with restaurants offering delicious meals. If you’re looking for simple refreshments, head to a cafe, where you can sit on the patio and watch people pass by. If you look around, you can also find great places to shop, including fish and fruit markets to the south. • I thought it was a soulless imitation of the Plaza Mayor in Madrid. Much space wasted, dirty and without supervision. At another time he should play an important public role, but now he fits in the category of monument without charm. On the other hand, it is interesting visual relaxation offering the contrast of this space when it comes to walk awhile down narrow streets that precede it. I still recall the intense smell of olives that we perceive nothing else enter this square. If you are not picky about hygiene, it is a good resting place before continuing the March through the old quarter.

  • Mimics a Castilian square, but without charm. The atmosphere is rather crappy. The bars, some at least, lack of services with a minimum of hygiene. Antique dealers are rather scrap merchants. Go to verify

  • Emblematic town square, with multiple bars for tapas at good prices. Ideal for coffee and enjoy the Sun in winter

  • It is the Plaza Mayor Cordoba. There are many shops for local produce, flowers, etc. There are also several cafés with tables in the same square where you can take a cafetito quietly. Landmark
