  • Beautiful church built immediately after the reconquest of the city on the site of a mosque in style between Romanesque and Gothic. Beautiful rose window that invokes the mudejar decoration and interesting the belfry obtained by modifying the minaret.

  • I am so impressed by the façade of this church that you just want to try your luck during mass (unfortunately outside there is no timetable) and at 20 I can access it. The Interior is pretty simple yet elegant. A visit is a must: recommended!

  • It is a more or less normal Church, to see only if you spare you time, if you don't see it don't you miss nothing

  • Wonderful monument of XV century Gothic Architecture. You are going to find excellent frescoes with the Christ Passions painted in first half of XV century here! Must see place at Cordoba!
  • For my taste it is the most beautiful church of Cordoba, not only at the architectural level but also by its precious carvings and its location in one of the areas of most hearth of the city.

Where to stay in Cordoba

To experience the heart of Cordoba's old-world charm, the famous Jewish Quarter, or Judería, offers an array of family-owned pensions and boutique hotels with close proximity to the city's main attractions and lively tapas culture. A number of newer hotels surround the local train and bus stations offering more spacious accomodations, although removed from the city's historical district. Above all, be sure to book a hotel equipped with air conditioning as Cordoba is famous for its scorching tempuratures during the late spring and summer.
