  • Very interesting if you want to understand the history of Andalucia. The fact that it's a small museum actually improves the experience because it let's you enough time to read the exclamations which are rightly dosed.
  • Very nice museum with great presentations like 3d visualization of the roman theater/ruins and coins observable via magnifying glass.
  • Is a great museum to see the timeline of the city! Loved it! It has a great collection and definitely worths visiting!!
  • Nice small museum, beautifully packaged. Really interesting. English explanations, too. Free entrance for EU citizens (for Brits, too, still?). Arabic period of Córdoba does not get a lot of attention, it seemed to me.
  • Museum showing various objects and artefacts from differrent time periods. There was a section with some mosaics which was closed now.

Where to stay in Cordoba

To experience the heart of Cordoba's old-world charm, the famous Jewish Quarter, or Judería, offers an array of family-owned pensions and boutique hotels with close proximity to the city's main attractions and lively tapas culture. A number of newer hotels surround the local train and bus stations offering more spacious accomodations, although removed from the city's historical district. Above all, be sure to book a hotel equipped with air conditioning as Cordoba is famous for its scorching tempuratures during the late spring and summer.
