Capilla Mudejar de San Bartolome, Cordoba

4.2
Visit Capilla Mudejar de San Bartolome for a richly decorated example of Mudéjar art from the 15th century. Originally a funerary chapel, this small building continued to operate as a parish church until the 17th century. Now serving as part of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, the church has been listed as a historic monument since 1931. • A gorgeous place to visit for its history and its magic. Place full of stories that intertwine and we open a key to the world

  • It is just wonderful to get lost inside the mosque where cultures merge. In the morning from 8.30 to 9.30 admission is free and there are too many people. Not to be missed!

  • It is in the Jewish quarter and missed. Small and beautiful and well conserada. Close to the synagogue

  • Rating with less than 5 * because they charge entry, it is small, or without visiting the interior Mudejar is an error. Beautiful place, authentic and historical.

  • Very nice. But it doesn't seem very logical that they charge more at weekends between week

Where to stay in Cordoba

To experience the heart of Cordoba's old-world charm, the famous Jewish Quarter, or Judería, offers an array of family-owned pensions and boutique hotels with close proximity to the city's main attractions and lively tapas culture. A number of newer hotels surround the local train and bus stations offering more spacious accomodations, although removed from the city's historical district. Above all, be sure to book a hotel equipped with air conditioning as Cordoba is famous for its scorching tempuratures during the late spring and summer.
