  • Eleven visible a bit far Mills, including some in good condition. The wings are adjustable according to the direction of the wind, where this "gangly" opposite wings, to rotate the roof of the mill. Recall that Don Quixote was believed that the mills were giants, and tried to fight them. Beautiful legend of the novel by Cervantes. Some are open and transformed into souvenir shops, you can find example of Saffron which the handle is producing. There is also a castle that can be visited. It's nice, but is not a must in the Spain, anyway.

  • It is an obviously very windy area, but it is a spectacular place, with beautiful views of Consuegra and surroundings. It is a short but ideal for children, since it has pedestrian zones.

  • A good output if you want to know something more than Toledo, can be reached easily by car and is allowed to climb up to the castle to ignore the sign of forbidden to climb on the car) there is a restored mill in which you can see stones and operating mechanisms. Something different and if you like very interesting machines.
