  • We visited in mid winter with wild seas outside the harbour and waves breaking on the breakwater. The harbour itself was locked down with steel shuttering and was thus totally protected and calm. Ther...  more »
  • We could not endure the Gale that was doing when we went through there. Removing that nor is it was a fishing port other than many others I've seen. The beach is just next door.

  • Reading the history of this spring, begin works in the 1600, then later due to mining activities in the area an enlargement in the 1856, it had great importance for the industrialization of the town, the comings and goings of boats with the ore would be a show with those long candles, they were also fishermen who were engaged in whaling , had canned fish factories, beside the pier there is a large stone called it that of the whales, which was the place where descuartizaban them to put them in manufactures, in winter is quite a sight with the storms as waves swallowed almost all of the port.
