  • Actually the name that is known this building makes it gala to what is going to be. First important work of Gaudi, one of the three that exist outside of Catalonia, his visit is a must but fulfilling conditions. The visit has to be with a guide, and if the Russian girl who speaks a beautiful best Castilian; the experience will be unique. It will make you understand in a way that will dazzle the group the genesis of the building and you will be able to read, as we were all those who are part of the group, it the same in a way which by no means is we passed by the imagination. Finally a great experience. Nothing to do with my previous visit for more than 25 years in which apart from a meal at the restaurant where he had transformed a Japanese group ruins where the building had become and was lucky to be able to see this transformation through photographs thanks to the kindness of the Manager but has been on this visit when at last I learned to see what he wanted this work Gaudi and all for the great work of this Russian girl...

  • We had the chance to follow the guided visit and it certainly was interesting and enjoyable. The building, though small, has numerous details that deserve to be discovered!

  • Great visit if you are in Comillas. Make sure you catch the guided tour every hour on the hour (only in Spanish), as it reveals a lot about the house and Gaudi which is not obvious to the non-specialist.
  • Fantastic. Worth visiting it if you are in the area of Santander.. even my kids enjoyed this early work of Gaudi. I recommend you first watch the video in the greenhouse with english subtitles and then enjoy the capricho..
  • An interesting insight into the early work of Gaudi. Gaudy as Gaudi is. A very interesting and informative tour guide by Carlos in English - mucho gracias - well worth going on. A fantastic chance encounter. Recommend it to anyone visiting this area.
  • Interesting building and nice to discover Gaudi architecture outside of Barcelona, but the €5 entrance fee seems a bit high.
  • A nice place to spend an hour in. There are English guided tours of the house twice a day, at 12:30 and 16:30. They are included in the entrance price which is also symbolic.
