  • Already had been for many years in this fabulous building. Not a few Japanese-owned inside, which was a luxury restaurant is visited by then. The entrance to the outside was free but it is clear that you had a very partial and limited vision. Now I have to pay, and although it is still owned by the same Japanese, they very kindly explain that they decided to turn the House into a Museum and open to all visitors, what is no doubt a wonderful success. The guided tour is very interesting and informative and the girl that we had was very nice. You hear of amazing stuff and spend a great time. Visit essential for the whole family when you are in Cantabria.

  • One of symbols Comillas, the Capricho de Gaudi building, a beauty to which we could not enter because at least in winter closes at 17:30 and the last tour is at 17:00. It was Saturday and we crashed quite a schedule so small, so watch out for this if you want to much enter (from outside the fence looks pretty good building outside). The price of the entrance are 5€.

  • It can not be otherwise if these area you have to go. The day we were there were several groups and baby cart is not very accessible. This coupled with architecture I have no much idea makes that visit was typically no more. I still think that it is worth seeing even if inside there was just nothing thing that disappointed me, the truth.

  • Great visit if you are in Comillas. Make sure you catch the guided tour every hour on the hour (only in Spanish), as it reveals a lot about the house and Gaudi which is not obvious to the non-specialist.
  • Fantastic. Worth visiting it if you are in the area of Santander.. even my kids enjoyed this early work of Gaudi. I recommend you first watch the video in the greenhouse with english subtitles and then enjoy the capricho..
  • An interesting insight into the early work of Gaudi. Gaudy as Gaudi is. A very interesting and informative tour guide by Carlos in English - mucho gracias - well worth going on. A fantastic chance encounter. Recommend it to anyone visiting this area.
  • Interesting building and nice to discover Gaudi architecture outside of Barcelona, but the €5 entrance fee seems a bit high.
  • A nice place to spend an hour in. There are English guided tours of the house twice a day, at 12:30 and 16:30. They are included in the entrance price which is also symbolic.
