  • We took the English tour and it was extremely worthwhile. Aldo gave us 45 minutes of detailed, informative and interesting information about the house, town and many aspects of history & culture.  more »
  • The nice thing is it from outside, on the inside there is nothing interesting. Give a short walk in the surrounding area you can see, although logically entering the enclosure can be seen better.

  • It is one of the forced sites if you visit Comillas. It is priceless, the building is a jewel inside and out. the guided tour is worthwhile, the day we were there was a brilliant girl who explained everything very well and made us very pleasant visit. The gardens are also very nice to walk around and do some photos very cool.

  • The first house designed by the young Gaudi ( 20s) then. HE used the sunflowers and the tobacco leaves to customize his artwork for owner. Sunflower because just like it, the house is orientated towards the sunlight's entry to specific rooms like the greenhouse, the living room, the drawing room etc. He used natural light to maximize usage. Tobacco leaves as the personal signature of the owner who owned a tobacco factory. This house was the first at that time to use electricity too. The king and queen at that time were entertained often there by the owner a lawyer who died after 7 days of occupancy to this place. Now it's owned by a Japanese family who opened it to the public. A must see. See the hinges and windows and use of natural light to show how advance Gaudi was for his time.
  • We had a great guided tour thanks to Claudia. Beautiful building and story. You'll get much more out of the visit if you do the free tour.
  • Small, manageable palace. Well worth the visit. Hours of free parking for tourist in the centre of this pretty town - Comillas. Beautiful sandy beach very accessible too.
  • Well worth a visit. On summer evenings, a jazz band plays out in the patio and a small bar in the winter garden is set up. Really nice experience.
  • The building is beautiful on the outside but not even worth looking at on the inside. It has been completely modernised, so not worth spending money on the entrance fee. Just admire it from outside the gate.
