The Cabrera Archipelago Maritime-Terrestrial National Park is a national park that includes the whole of the Cabrera Archipelago in the Balearic Islands, an autonomous community that is part of the Spanish State. The park covers 100 square kilometers, though 87 square kilometers is covered by water. The park attracts relatively few visitors due to its remoteness. There is no permanent population, but there might be at any given time just under 100 National Park staff members and other personnel on the islands. The archipelago has great natural value. Due to its isolation throughout history, it has remained relatively unchanged. The coastal landscape of Cabrera is often considered one of the best preserved on the Spanish coast, and indeed in all of the Mediterranean, as a result. The islands are blanketed by important colonies of seabirds and other endemic species. Due to its biotic wealth and abundance and variety of birds, the park has also been declared a Special Protection Area for birds. It is also a Site of Community Importance, and as such is integrated into the Natura 2000 network. The park is likewise among the ranks of the Specially Protected Areas of Mediterranean Importance under the protocols for protected marine areas established by the Barcelona Convention.

  • A very nice trip, we spent all day in cabrera and explore the small island with a special charm, being of mallorca not us surprised, is beautiful and charming but I think that could put umbrellas on the beaches since it is a very hot place and when you take half an hour in the sand or in the water the Sun gives very strong , we paid the visit to sa cova blava, visit that not too organized was the company that took us longer than we had expected about 45 minutes to get in because it was full and enter LEGOLAND 5 minutes and we went, despite that it was a trip with much charm and views des enviable Castle.

  • Important: even if the ship passage booking via the Internet, the ticket must be picked before embarking at the ticket office. This is located in the port. You should plan this time. We had a very nice trip. On board: 50 passengers. Drinks on board is provided. Arrived on the island it is pointed out by a "Ranger", how to behave in the Cabrera nature reserve. During the ascent to the castle to get the island and its location to Mallorca a very nice overview of it advisable then a walk to the large Bay. The first accessible beach is very suitable for swimming and sunbathing, the second Pebble Beach, 10 minutes of it, is hardly suitable for swimming. The trip will be in close proximity to the first Beach instead. The trip then continued to the "Blue Grotto" in calm seas. Very nice! The boat enters the cave. Then we were allowed to swim 15 minutes in the gorgeous clear water along with many fish. Stay on the island around 3 hours, crossing ca 1 hour
