  • Climb to the caves from Collbató when the light starts to fade and all before your eyes fades, is not only an unforgettable tour, is also an initiatory trip in which the rest of the senses awakens and you're ready to enter an unsuspected world inside the unfathomable cave

  • Located 1 km from the village of Collbató. Admission € 7.50 adults. There are for children and pensioners. Best to go early, since otherwise, you will not find parking. First visit to the 10, 45 h. You have to be 10, 15 h for the inputs. Go to the last parking lot, which is at the foot of the stairs that will take you to the entrance of the cave. Entries are collected in a House which is about 500 meters from the parking. Once you have parked the car, you have to climb up 240 steps, until you reach the door of the cave. The visit is guided and becomes very enjoyable. During the tour, which runs through gateways with little light, should go up and down a total of about 550 steps. Take comfortable footwear, rather sporty type. Inside the cave there are about 14 ° C, but with the exercise of up and down stairs, is barely noticed. Photos can be made. There are stalactites with very strange shapes. There are no toilets. There are sections that have to go very carefully, although the guide is always outstanding and constantly warns of any precautions to be taken. Children may visit it without problem. I do not advise visit, for seniors, for the theme of the steps. Behind the dugout where they sell tickets, there is a small area for barbecue, bar and toilets. If you are very, but very fond to see caves, you will not find nothing very special. I am not going to repeat the visit and it is not because it not be worth, but which travel outside to get to the door of the cave, both inner travel with its stairs, is a little long. My rating is 6 out of 10.

  • Displacement worth expressly to visit the caves. Adequate access and comprehensive guided tour. It can be combined with a visit to the nearby Hermitage of health and its adjoining picnic area.
