  • We went there after visiting the castle of cuellar which are close and the two can be done in a day. This is super well preserved Castle although this restored. There are many stairs divided into three sections and they are irregular. It is not very suitable for older people due to the narrow stairs and high and irregular steps with. They are three sections of 25 steps each and at the end 10 of gift! But the views are unbeatable city. You can see all many miles away... as a good defensive Castle of the era.

  • Without words, is wonderful. Great, equal attention would not see it very adapted for very elderly the steps but it is amazing

  • Not worth it worth the visit. Just watch out and if go close. Only indoor climb by a spiral with very irregular and worn steps complicated above all the down staircase has nothing to see inside

  • Beautiful Mudejar style castle, watch for the schedule since they close at lunch hours
  • This was a fabulous place to check out off the beaten path but well worth it!
  • Beautiful ruins and the cool thing is that you can walk through them
  • Don Alonso de Fonseca is one of my many great grandfathers. I think he is my 4th or 5th great grandfather. I'm looking for my relatives in Spain or Belgium David Fonsen is my great grand father. I would love to meet you and see the castle one day. I heard that it's really beautiful.
  • The first stop on a short castle tour you can take, this castle is right along the side of the road with lots of parking next to it. Since it is in a small town there are not that many people you have to complete with to take some stellar pictures. Tours are self guided and free or very cheap. from here there are several other great castles to visit if you keep driving east.
