  • We went to this Castle since it is quite spectacular by what you see from the outside. The entrance was worth €2.70. Once inside... you can get an idea of how it was. They do not put easily for a guided tour and inside, there is any kind of information about the Castle. Only when you enter they give you a brief explanation of the route. What I recommend if remains of road

  • This castle is located in Coca and as you see it you impresses by its size and grandeur. See it on the outside is a spectacle, the depth of its moat, its colors... If there are required to enter, since it only costs 2.70 euros. But, unfortunately, what most impresses is out. As soon as you buy the entrance asked if had guided and Lady just told us that that was not, for free (while page had read something that at some point there was). When you enter they give you a brochure with some information (which my seemed insufficient) and a man made us a short introduction, telling us that we entered by the Chapel and that we would come out around the yard at the end of the visit following the marked route. We went for the different rooms, they were OK but we needed to know the simple fact of that served each, which were at the time... What I liked most was the arrival in a room in one of its towers, which by its dome shape allowed you to 'play' with the sound, and can hear your voice stereo, whispered to one of the walls and be heard on the other... This castle is very well restored, and may visit a part of it. Without a doubt, to make your visit more productive I recommend a guided tour.

  • This refurbished Castle is a precious jewel of the Spanish Mudéjar, but still have the same exposure that years ago, dusty included, surely the lack of interest of its State owner you don't want invest in this type of heritage and culture

  • Beautiful Mudejar style castle, watch for the schedule since they close at lunch hours
  • This was a fabulous place to check out off the beaten path but well worth it!
  • Beautiful ruins and the cool thing is that you can walk through them
  • Don Alonso de Fonseca is one of my many great grandfathers. I think he is my 4th or 5th great grandfather. I'm looking for my relatives in Spain or Belgium David Fonsen is my great grand father. I would love to meet you and see the castle one day. I heard that it's really beautiful.
  • The first stop on a short castle tour you can take, this castle is right along the side of the road with lots of parking next to it. Since it is in a small town there are not that many people you have to complete with to take some stellar pictures. Tours are self guided and free or very cheap. from here there are several other great castles to visit if you keep driving east.
