  • As accommodation I have already given my opinion in the hotels section, now I mention on the building, this castle fortress surrounded by walls has a tower which is accessed by a narrow staircase with 84 steps, which is worth the effort to raise them since the views, once at the top are spectacular.

  • this is now the Parador hotel, has interesting history & good views, well worth a visit to go in the tower.
  • The interior is well decorated while: in the reception area have been glazed roof and it is not pretty for my taste; not le quito score because allows you to have all the area with light natural without stay to the air. They now offer guided tours of all the tower and it is worth to use this service for the price they have. The gardens are finally finished and it is a very nice place to relax and have views of the river. All the tower is enabled as a Parador, but even the part of the wall that surrounds it is perfectly preserved and restored.
