  • If you come to Ciudad Real, you must not miss the Cathedral. It has a Baroque altarpiece that is impressive and also has been restored recently and its quality has nothing to envy to the best and most famous.

  • Church with a nave which highlights its altarpiece and its little ornamentation. We should not visit thinking that we will find a great Gothic Cathedral. It is much easier and sufficient for the city

  • Very primitive Gothic Temple, which combines many elements of the late Romanesque and is where we see the transition from the Romanesque to the Gothic, with flying buttresses, which in this case with massive buttresses of large dimensions, its construction from a parish church from the times of Alfonso X the wise, has been expanded until the beginning of the 20th century, the exterior of the temple resembles a fortress since its buttresses rather seem bastions of defence. Inside the Temple of basilical of nave only and completely transparent, is a breathtaking width, highlight the wonderful retablo of the main altar, el camarín de la Virgen with the carving of our Mrs. of the Prado, swivel stand, that fall afternoon is turned to the outside and the locals, can worship their Patron Saint from the outdoor.
