Historic Site
With galleried houses from the 15th to 17th centuries along its perimeter and the 16th-century church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción looming overhead, Plaza mayor de Chinchon gives the town an atmospheric heart. Head into the church to see a work by Goya depicting the Assumption of the Virgin. Afterward, sit at one of the surrounding cafes or dine at one of the second-floor restaurants overlooking the plaza from the balconies. • Above all at night!, very nice!, is worth the visit Chinchón and its Plaza Mayor. Dine at any of the restaurants, in one of its balconies!

  • Beautiful day and night magic square. Cars can be parked a penalty coming week (as in much of Spain). From July to October are mounted the plaza de toros, which, in my view, impair the view of the plaza.
