Los Acantilados Marinos Mas Altos de La UE, Cedeira
Categories: Mountains, Nature & Parks
Explore the wild beauty and rugged terrain of Los Acantilados Marinos Mas Altos de La UE, home to some of the lushest landscapes in Europe. The oceanside cliffs are the highest in continental Europe, at more than 600 m (1,970 ft) above sea level. The area known as Herveira is considered to have one of the best views of the cliffs and sea. Visit the cliff-side sanctuary dedicated to St. Andrew, an apostle who is alleged to have been stranded on the rocky shoreline. Hike along the area’s miles of trails, which will take you through lush foliage, and keep your eyes open for herds of some of Europe’s rare groups of wild horses. Terrain can be steep, and therefore some trails are not recommended for those with mobility issues. The height is shocking.show original
