  • A nice plaza, but not that different than many other Spanish plazas. The Christmas decorations were nice but not spectacular. I am not downing the place and enjoyed the shopping around there.
  • This central square within walking distance of several of the archaeological remains that are exposed: Roman Forum, Parque El Molinete, Augusteum and House of fortune has a large central open space that is used by the citizens and the city to perform activities such as for example the placement of the Christmas crib. They are in the same facades of old buildings of regrettable aspect (although it seems that they will rehabilitate) with other eye-catching modernist as the House of the master or of the Ruff, although not always inhabited. It highlights two large towering ficus by its size under which stands a sculpture in honor of Isidoro Maiquez, as well as a small bust in honor of another illustrious citizen of Cartagena. In the corner opposite to this rises a sculpture with Roman motifs on Augusto, with gown but without head or hands, recreating that is located in the Museum of the Roman Theatre. Some bars and restaurants take advantage of the space to remove tables and chairs to serve, taking advantage of the splendid climate of the port city.

  • Cartagena plaza downtown, with its imposing trees millennial, which has recovered the lost in recent years, due to various business pulse hoteliers who have opened their doors in recent months. It also hosts concerts and shows at different times of the year on the agenda of the city. Of course, spectacular Nativity which is located on the roundabout is a must-see in this Christmas.
