  • Took the tourist boat out from the port and took advantage of the free talk and tour around the fort. It provides a great insight into how things used to be and great photo opportunities. This is a mu...  more »
  • On paper, it has enough to be one of the greatest tourist attractions of Cartagena. However, the explanation of the guides is reduced to 10 minutes then allow visitors to move through the site as you see best. One would expect that as minimum will explain the functioning Dela existing canon, but must comply with the panels. Infoptativos posters are conspicuous by their absence. The exteriors are so worn out by the screed that are unreadable. One of the rooms shows what appears to be the office of the officer of higher rank next to what appears to be the original door. Models that need a complete overhaul since the majority of the buttons do not work. Photos are prohibited on the premises. If you go by road, parking in the area is reduced. The only thing for what it is worth is by the views of the Harbour and the mouth.

  • It is an emblematic site in the city of Cartagena. Very successful was restore it and show it as a tourist spot of our city. It is next to the entrance to the docks of Cartagena, also you can see the shipyard of Navantia. And it has a front image as if it were a postcard of Cartagena.

  • Very nice and a shame is not well preserved even to make a hostel as it has an enviable position.

  • Old abandoned military installations. Pretty cool to go and spend the morning or afternoon, stunning views of the port of Cartagena.

  • See enviable views surrounded by old military installations dating from centuries ago. Amazing that these places are not put in value.
