Better get about an hour before the close because at 2 o'clock already closed the village where you can see the beautiful mosaics. A video explains very well the origin of the village. Very attentive staff. Good parking. Close to the village to eat.
Hace ya tiempo que fui, en 2015 y creo que era verano porque hacía mucho calor. Los mosaicos, impresionantes, los mejores que he visto... I was a bad taste because my partner and I and another family were the only ones there. And I wonder, how not promoted these wonders, considering that it is also just 50 km from Madrid? It would help to preserve the heritage and also to improve the local economy...
Merece la pena ir al visitarlo para ver como vivían los antiguos romanos cerca de Madrid en una casa de campo lo que ahora seria un cortijo en Andalucía, se nota el poder (dinero) que tenia el propiet... more »It is worth to visit to see how the ancient Romans near Madrid in a farmhouse living what would now be a farmhouse in Andalusia, we note power (money) I had the owner for having an as luxurious home to meet their farms ,
Amazing ruins and mosaics from a 4th century Roman villa, definitely worth a visit.
Part of our historical heritage, of great beauty, well preserved and unknown to most. It is worth visiting it and with the guided tour can enjoy much more. Educational activities for children, ideal for visiting family. A few minutes from the Centre of Madrid. Its mosaics are as important as the Bardo (Tunis).
I recommend a visit to this archaeological site because of the good condition of the same. We couldn't do the guided tour because of problems with the schedules. It's a shame because you lose better place you visit. Presented a video interesting but outdated, as they themselves recognize due to subsequent research. The rest of the visit travel facilities and read the signs and guide. It would be necessary to change the signs that by the Sun and the weather deteriorate.
Probably the best preserved Roman mosaics in Spain. In addition to the site, it consists of a small museum and projection room where an explanatory documentary exhibit. The tour is very well prepared.
The site well, but the staff quite pasota. Not told us anything about the possibility of buying a guided tour that is worth much because inside there is virtually no information. Nor did offer audio guides (I don't know if they exist). We are left wanting to know more and at the end of the visit we saw a group with guide, but they did not let us listen to it. A penalty. But we really liked the performance of the "Gladiators". The guys curraron it is and our children were fascinated.
