  • It is a stately, magnificent and impressive place. It preserves much information in its construction of the time and life in the monastery in their good times. Fail something audiovisual because some were off and others put that they were otherwise damaged, it is worth visiting it.

  • Cistercian Monastery thing to see, especially if you are just passing in the area. Its most prominent part is the Queen's staircase.

  • What is left of the interesting monastery. A pity not remaining on foot, while the guide explains the why. There is parking and the outside view is very nice. Who go need to know that it will go up and down some stairs.

  • Spectacular I loved the visit, restored but properly clear... If you love culture and history, if not stones without more.

  • Winter (from November 1 to March 31) opening hours: from 10.00 to 14.00 hours and from 16.00 to 18.00 hours summer (from 1 April to 31 October): from 10.00 to 14.00 hours and from 17.00 to 20.00. Closed on Mondays. Dating back to the year 900, the land ceded it King Bermudo II of León monks fleeing from Almanzor. Later, Sancha, sister of the Leonese King restored him Alfonso VI. This gave it again to other monks and thus became part of the Cistercian rule and S. Salvador original name was changed to the current. She lived there seasonally, so it was a Royal Palace. It is listed as BIC. There are numerous brands of masons, it is perhaps a great collection, it is possible that some primitive place stones re-used since they are not always placed to the right, or even are blended in a very striking way. The first time that I visited, in childhood, leaderless, the caretaker had died, and widow let you see it for will, I fell in love with the place. In that time, beauty, ruin, was pure and wild. There your imagination alone, over the years, and weather. A magical place without doubt, and although you may visit it only not you lose nothing, moreover, you create your own story of its history. You can park there same. You don't walk calmly, it takes time and number of visits. You will always discover something new, you will always find something that will make you get out of the hustle and unusual to live a beautiful story. From the Crypts to the capitals, bestiary, paved floor, the glass of the Church, nests of birds, grass, viewpoints...
