Puente Romano, Cangas de Onis
(4.1/5 based on 950+ reviews on the web)
Puente Romano is surrounded by picturesque scenery and very photogenic. Despite its name, this bridge was not built in the Roman times, but in the 13th century. Walk along its cobbled road and admire the well-preserved Romanesque architecture. Have your photo taken on it with the mountains in the background. On the detailed information plaque, learn about the modifications that have been made over the centuries. On the central arch you can find a reproduction of the famous Victory Cross, a work of precious metal from the 10th century. • A show, see pass the River, the fishermen, watching the trout and uiza some salmon, under its crystalline waters, and the garden of the cider House where the chorizo in cider waiting..., relax. The cross of Pelayo, Asturian symbol and more leads to the evocaciones epic, there hangs under the bridge, it's like being in my house.

  • I can't say much more than that it is very nice, a point of tourist interest in Asturias (Cangas de Onís) is all paved and from above you can see a nice lawn with the name of the town.

  • Nice to see it, cross it or a photo. You don't have much more to add. It is a cute and old bridge that matters most for its history than by the function that can have today. Opposite is the information center where there is a very friendly and willing staff to provide information!
