An sich bin ich kein Zoofreund denn mir sind Tiere in freier Natur lieber, aber wir haben uns von der Beschreibung dass s sich um überwiegend heimische Tiere sein sollen doch hinreissen lassen diesen ... read more »In itself, I am not a Zoo friend because animals in the wild are dear to me, but we have from the description that s should be predominantly domestic animals but get carried away and leave to visit this zoo. The positive: The variety of animals is surprising and the animals make despite the partly spatial confines of the enclosures, or better the cages a healthy impression. It's a pity that the whole property makes it a messy impression and thus whether the animals are housed right here leaves a thread aftertaste.show original
Laura FernándezIt is a zoo out of the ordinary. Very very nice. It is not "commercial" (has no shops or restaurants inside), is more familiar. It is built on the slope of the mountain and climb and down a road in nature. It is very quiet. Animals can be very close and it's great to know that they also make protective work, because they are animals who have suffered some sort of accident, for example, a bird with half ala,... and there well care to have them. It is the second time that we are going and seems to us a very special enclave. We will come back safe. Highly recommended for those who want to get out of "normal".show original
Samantha FigueirasHorrible. Conditions presenting were appalling. While the animals originate from rehabilitation centres and their improvement was impossible that should not prejudice in their life condition. Not only that, if not that the bins were full of crap for some time, because we could see peel of plantain in decomposition, as well as papers and napkins... Seriously, I had a fatal. Entry €9.show original
Rodrigo SanchezMain zoo of Asturias. It's not very big and that makes him in the crosshairs of current theories urban-wildlife... I think that they do wonders considering that the Administration turns its back on these facilities when they are not of public initiative. Recovered animals, have ecological sensitivity, it is didactic, they have bears, wolves, grouse... A resource more in a very touristy area. (Some would want to release the bears by Cangas, or to be paid a retirement in Alaska...)show original
Francisco Miranda AzurmendiAlthough from the outside appearance doesn't invite to enter, visit does not disappoint, although it is not cheap. It should take into account that many of the animals are in recovery and some no longer can live in nature freely. Ideal for children and spectacular selection of owls and barn owls. Asturian fauna in general.show original
Juan Carlos Feal AlvarezThe visit to the zoo has let us down. Despite being a small place they have quite a few animals, but it seems quite unsafe and does not seem very suitable also for animals. The price is high (9 euro adult and 5 children) for its size (you can see in 15 minutes). Despite everything it has bear, lynxes, wolves, owls, etc...show original
