  • A large building, unknown to many and certainly do nothing to let you know. Poorly lit, there is nothing lit, to pay in all sites, altar, chapels... He had not seen anywhere..., you pay once and the Church, amazing glows. They could check this aspect.

  • It is the Cathedral of La Rioja par excellence, since this is one of the provinces where the ecclesiastical capital does not coincide with the administrative. The history of Calahorra is impressive from this La Rioja city is romanizó and Christianized the Basque country, which belonged to his diocese. The Cathedral is a national monument; Mix styles Gothic, neo-classical and Baroque, although the current building, whose construction began Fifteenth-century rises over another former Romanesque temple, which in turn would probably rise about another Visigoth and on. Flame attention its location, as it is normal that you a cathedral is situated in the Centre of the city. Calahorra, in addition to its importance in times of the Roman Empire, is the stage of the classical Camino de Santiago that enters the peninsula from Roncesvalles.

  • Something dirty the city. Quite nice and the Cathedral is not to be of the most beautiful that I've ever been but isn't bad, one more. I recommend tapas area and enjoy its streets.
