Cala Mitjana, Cala Galdana

(4.3/5 based on 1,500+ reviews on the web)
Cala Mitjana, a popular cove near the village of Cala Santa Galdana, belongs to a protected natural area. Its high rocks are thick with pine trees. A gentle slope down leads to a sandy beach with calm, clear water. Keep an eye out for peregrine falcons and bats, if you visit in the evening. Bring a picnic or bottles of water, as no shops are nearby. The walk from the village will take 30 minutes, but you may want to budget more time for frequent picture breaks. Getting there is easy by car, and parking is available. Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to Cala Mitjana by using our Cala Galdana family vacation planner.

  • We went to walk about 40 minutes more or less, along the Camí de caballs and when we arrived, we had a surprise to see the Cove and it was gone, worth what you are are wonderful views.

  • March 2017 spending a few relaxing days in Cala Galdana, saw a sign indicating access to cane Mitjana through a path called Camí de Cavalls... awesome Cala Mitjana! A Virgin coastal corner with a lush pine forest and calm waters. By indications that had been in the Creek fauna and flora is beautiful, to disconnect completely
