La Caleta Beach, Cadiz
(4/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web)
Nestled between the castles of San Sebastián and Santa Catalina La Caleta Beach is a natural harbor where the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, and Romans historically docked to enter southern Spain. Residents of Cádiz are proud of their iconic beach, and you'll hear about it in many of the songs they sing during Carnival. It's perched in front of Barrio la Viña, a neighborhood full of brightly colored houses that bear a striking resemblance to those in Cuba. Perhaps you will recognize it as the setting for the beach scenes in the James Bond movie “Die Another Day.” Enjoy a refreshing swim, the warm Spanish sun, and snacks from the chiringuitos, or snack bars, scattered about under the palm trees. • You have for thought!, get close to this beach where it relaxes the mind and the senses taking the leading role. Urban, 100% but natural and spectacular.

  • Beach in the city that allows you to view the two castles of Cadiz and make a nice walk and beautiful photos

  • It is approaching this beach to the fall of the evening, when the Sun is about to get behind the sea. The sunsets are spectacular, in a privileged environment. A beach of fine sand forming a small Cove, where on one side is the lighthouse of San Sebastian and the other the Santa Catalina Castle. And facing the same, the sea, and the boats of the fishermen, rocking is in the water. And if like to taking a cup or beer, there is a restaurant. A site romantic as few.
