  • A site overlooking magnificent. The castle itself is not very attractive; the entrance is free and there are bathrooms well maintained.

  • the ride isn't bad but the castle is little truth, but after eating is fine to do some sport

  • One of the two castles along the beach in Cádiz. Our entry was free. We enjoyed walking along the great castle walls and visiting the small chapel.  more »

  • A lovely small fortress/castle with great views over the sea to the rest of Cádiz. What I really like though were that many of the rooms are given over to exhibitions of great modern art. Unexpected and it transforms "just another ruined castle" (of which we have thousands in Europe) into a rather special place. Entrance is free which is always good.
  • If not for some modern sculptures, one might think that is in some "Western" or in Mexico. I love that courtyard with little Chapel and "hacienda"?! It's so diffrent to the style of Cadiz. And the view of the bay with those little colourful fishing boats...wow so romantic...so picturesque. I just would love to paint it.
  • Free admission, but rather simplistic fortress with not much to see. There are few museum-like facilities inside that I avoided, maybe there's something in there.
  • Really nice place. The views are great and the architecture is really nice.
  • Nice views from the fortress that in the past used to be a prison. There are some local artist working and exposing inside the rooms. Free entrance and almost nobody inside
