  • We arrived on a Monday and closed at 19:30. On Wednesday arrived 13:30. There are no exposed hours, no poster information, less a large map at the entrance. When we ask nor do we gave information. All the rooms were closed, only saw abroad, which is very nice and worth a stroll through the wall. You have binoculars to see the castle of San Sebastián in the distance.

  • Converted for military use the cultural, the castle is located on the stunning beach of La Caleta and the remains of the Phoenician and Roman, settlements with a perfect state of conservation. In addition, there are always two or three exhibitions worth seeing. Essential to traverse its battlements and patios.

  • This is one of the two flanking the Cove. It is the smaller, more accessible, more restored and which caught more step. It also has a few rooms, normally modern art exhibitions. It catches halfway of a ride that skirt Cadiz coast, magnificent views and an interesting place for photos.

  • A lovely small fortress/castle with great views over the sea to the rest of Cádiz. What I really like though were that many of the rooms are given over to exhibitions of great modern art. Unexpected and it transforms "just another ruined castle" (of which we have thousands in Europe) into a rather special place. Entrance is free which is always good.
  • If not for some modern sculptures, one might think that is in some "Western" or in Mexico. I love that courtyard with little Chapel and "hacienda"?! It's so diffrent to the style of Cadiz. And the view of the bay with those little colourful fishing boats...wow so romantic...so picturesque. I just would love to paint it.
  • Free admission, but rather simplistic fortress with not much to see. There are few museum-like facilities inside that I avoided, maybe there's something in there.
  • Really nice place. The views are great and the architecture is really nice.
  • Nice views from the fortress that in the past used to be a prison. There are some local artist working and exposing inside the rooms. Free entrance and almost nobody inside
