  • A site that is worth making the km that is. Guided tour and an impressive monastery which could be a cathedral. Visit very well explained and the friars you let see to the Virgin from wax. Highly recommended.

  • Impressive monastery, both outside and inside. From the outside it is architecturally impressive and also boasts a large number of works of art: exquisitely embroidered ecclesiastical vestments, books, a Museum of painting and sculpture with paintings by Goya and el Greco, a sacristy with paintings by Zurbarán which has nothing to envy to the Sistine Chapel, a treasure and a cloister spectacular. The visit was quick and very entertaining, finally a monk of the monastery shows the camarín de la Virgen. Extremadura must-see gem.

  • We did the tour and we love. The monastery is wonderful but also the people. The road until there is makes heavy but deserves with grow up the penalty.

  • Spectacular place, mix of cultures and architectonic styles. Worth visiting
  • Very beautiful place. A must see. If you have the chance, try to lunch at the restaurant. Entrance, looking at the main entrance of the monastery, around the left side.
  • Amazing place. Amazing village
  • The monastery is spectacular and worth visiting it. The treatment of the Guide and the personal in general leaves much that wish. Bad education. It is a pity, not be are thinking because it goes against their own interests. The monk who shows you the image is a presentable, making friends, I think that you should have problems... actually gave me grief.
