  • We had a free guided tour and the truth that was impressive, the guide was called as I (nombere and surname) and despite being from the Basque country had a culture of the impressive city, us delighted with the amount of historical data, both the Palace and the general culture of the middle ages in the city of Cáceres. We saw the interior of the Palace and live in the history of this great guide voca, the culmination of the visit was the visit to the Tower of the Palace, the stunning views of the old city, also had the opportunity to see the Church of San Francisco Javier with towers of color ground, instead of white as they are in reality. A visit from the hand of Ricardo Hernández inolbidable.

  • For decades, and for reasons somewhat long to explain, you could visit the top floors of this Palace, with a bit of mana and flattery. With the local guide, you could tour the rooms designed to accommodate personalities who visited Cáceres. The collection of decorated, with their hidden drawers and secret places, made the delight of those who had the privilege to be there. Up to of peek at the magnificent balcony corner. Today is home to the headquarters of the Tourist Board and is a must to see the model of the city, the amazing courtyard (where, at Christmas, assembled one of the best Nativity scenes in Spain, no doubt) and the inside of the Tower of the Carvajales, from the 12TH century and the oldest example of civil architecture of Cáceres. The outdoor patio, with its "ancient fig tree" often host concerts and deserves a brief walk and perhaps a rest in a bank.

  • We approach after recommendation from the tourist office. By chance it was Thursday and they offered FREE and guided afternoon visit. At 17:00 o'clock we started the tour with a guy who we offered interesting explanations on the building of the Palace and the historical vicissitudes that have been exposed. Wonderful views from the Tower of the House, becomes a great panoramic view. exceptional model at the entrance of the building.
