  • Despite having had little luck with the weather (rain and fog that covered the Castle preventing the view), in the late afternoon could see the Salto del Gitano light from a sunset to remember! Definitely a place to be visited.

  • Impressive views of the Extremadura rangelands from the Castle and the vultures flying so close... Exudes a calm and tranquillity. I'm quite often because you recharge the batteries with so much beauty

  • You can visit easily by car, accessed from Villareal de San Carlos, where is the center of reception of travellers and start some walking routes. If you are comfortable you don't have rather than follow the road and go stopping at sites designed for that purpose, all well indicated. Don't miss the jump of the Roma, it is spectacular. There are other viewpoints, but it is essential. You can also reach the Castle and if it is not full tourist season can even reach the foot of the Castle by car; to the foot of the long staircases that lead to the Castle, the last section is to foot by force. Also can visit them jumps of Torrejón, near Villareal and that although only will indicate to the principle of the detour are recognizable by the dam to which will take.

  • This is the best natural park that I have never been. Monfragüe is a relaxing place where take a breath of fresh air with an extraordinary variety of animals and plant species. I advice you to visit Monfragüe and enjoy yourself or together your family of this beautiful location.
  • National park is must to see in Spain, especially in the month of Mai. There were flowers everywhere. It was really fantastic. Behind Villareal de San Carlos is a nice walking path. It's really enjoyable. It takes about one hour walk among the flowers, trees and birds. The nature is really beautiful. Be careful. There is usually more hot than in other parts of Spain. Obligatory stop also at the rock Salto del Gitano. The park is heaven for birdwatchers.
  • Just great! A real wild life! Griffons (huge birds) are abundant!
  • Wonderful nature reserve with lot's of excellent places to watch birds and mammals
  • Beautiful surroundings. Black flying between the Gorges vultures
