  • Is very curious to make a "dip" in a culture that has state this in the last our nation and to his time is so unknown. The House is in good condition, and each room has its own explanation to better understand their purpose and use. It is a different experience which is worth.

  • A remodeling and incredible conservation work. You can not come to Caceres and not to see it. In addition, there are only two in Spain! The boy explains it wonderfully!

  • This House dates from the 12TH century, has Roman foundations and the bath of origin, it is believed that it belonged to a Muslim merchant of the time. It has preserved Arab vestiges such as edge, barrel vaults, various Horseshoe, of semicircular arches and lobed, by representing a good example of typical Arab House. It has different parts: El Zaguán where the kitchen is, framed in an arch of brick Horseshoe, decorated with typical dishes and the tank, dug in the rock is 4 meters deep and 3 meters in diameter are currently continues to collect water from rain through channels, the water is filtered by layers of sand where it also makes passing through the winery, it cools the jars, fruit, etc. The interior of the tank has two semi-circular arches that reinforce the floor of the hallway. Another part is the Harem, the room that next to the bedroom is the room more intimate of the House. and the Hamman that is excavated in rock and is accessed down four steps. You must pass a corridor of 8 meters long with a barrel vault. The Hamman was used, both for hot water baths, as for steam baths, it has an input channel of the steam that came from the boiler room, serving both drainage and can thus recycle the water. Also could be used as heating, mainly fulfilled the room located just above. It was what I liked most of Cáceres and entry is free although the will is accepted. 100% recomemdable
