  • In this museum you delight from the beginning of the writing until our days. We liked much, since we seemed very interesting all the history and evolution of the writing. At the end of the visit there is a touch screen with games of the 7 differences on some images of books that have been in the Museum. He was quite surprised. We recommend it.

  • The Museum consists of 4 small plants that condenses the history of the book over time, beginning with a reproduction of the 'rosetta stone', medieval manuscripts and studies, works which have resulted in writing until the books more modern and the 'e-book'. The entry is free if searched visited it Cathedral of Burgos and canned it entry, and but have some rates very cheap, which discounted of the price of some remember that is buy in the shop of gifts, something face to my seem since could find books that not fell of them 40 € until them 100 € and more, which is understandable since are reproductions enough good of books classic; yet you can also purchase it as I remember a bookmark of papyrus with different styles, a feather, etc. as souvenirs more economical. A good Museum, but a too-quick visit.

  • Well organized. Small but very interesting. You can follow the history of the book from the ancient scrolls and Papyri to e-books. Special interest part referred to the incunabula of Burgos. The Museum is a publishing group that publishes facsimiles and plates that can be bought there same. If a purchase is made to discount the price of admission. It is worth to spend a couple of hours at this place.

  • Very interesting Museum in the Centre of burgos and which I recommend to go. It is a small museum, with 4 meeting rooms, which can be seen in less than an hour, but that is quite worth and more with the cost that has the entry, 3 euros or 2 with low rate. To say something negative, the majority of the exhibits are replicas, but there are also original things. It is advisable to go if you're visiting burgos since you lose very little time and is interesting.

  • It tells you with posters the history of the book from the Sumerian tablets with cuneiform script, Egyptian papyri or Roman manuscripts up to the current ebook. There are many replicas of books (the monks were real artists!), even of Gutenberg's printing press. Thought me moderately interesting. They are several plants, although small (to be a Museum) that I know so does very heavy.
