  • This was a great little museum. At first I was confused about which were "real" books (as in "really old") but then saw how the reproductions were mixed with some of the antiques. Its a very smart lay...  more »
  • Apart from taking you through the printed word from the beginning I was also really impressed by the fascimiles made by the company which sponsors the exhibition. Their work was amazing!  more »

  • Very interesting Museum in the Centre of burgos and which I recommend to go. It is a small museum, with 4 meeting rooms, which can be seen in less than an hour, but that is quite worth and more with the cost that has the entry, 3 euros or 2 with low rate. To say something negative, the majority of the exhibits are replicas, but there are also original things. It is advisable to go if you're visiting burgos since you lose very little time and is interesting.

  • It tells you with posters the history of the book from the Sumerian tablets with cuneiform script, Egyptian papyri or Roman manuscripts up to the current ebook. There are many replicas of books (the monks were real artists!), even of Gutenberg's printing press. Thought me moderately interesting. They are several plants, although small (to be a Museum) that I know so does very heavy.
