Museo de la Evolucion Humana, Burgos

4.3
#2 of 8 in Museums in Burgos
Museo de la Evolucion Humana focuses on human evolution in an apropos location, some 16 km (10 mi) from the Sierra de Atapuerca human fossil finds. The museum and grounds were designed by the architect Juan Navarro Baldeweg, and will be of interest in themselves. But inside you’ll find a recreation of the Sierra de Atapuerca mountain range, ultra-realistic reproductions of human ancestors, and the answers to your questions about the differences (or lack thereof) between us and our hunter-gatherer predecessors. You can even visit the sites of the fossil finds on a shuttle that leaves from the museum. Museo de la Evolucion Humana is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Burgos Edition.

  • It is a very interesting Museum. Ideal for learning both kids and adults. Children have their own plane and have to be finding footprints and reach a few challenges. So entertained are kept all the time. It is to go a couple of times minimum leg enjoy and be able to see everything there.

  • rarely I have entered in an as modern as new Museum and with so much evolution, this clear the man has suffered pair well or to bad big changes over the short period of time that we present on this planet we call Earth that. This museum allows us to see us through time as we have evolved as we have changed not only appearance but even the intellectual capacity. This course is a museum that is worth.

  • I have recently visited the Museum of evolution and thought me again interesting. He had already visited it before and had liked everything as a whole, but the visit now I liked more. I have found that they had expanded and improved the exposure as well as visitanbles areas. I find it very interesting and instructive. I hope that you continue to improve

  • Absolutely amazing museum. Wonderful interactive displays. Sure to inspire future archeologists and biologists. Spanish and English explanations.
  • Wonderful museum and kids will love it, too! The museum has a "treasure map" for children to find special items displayed in the exhibition, and the map also encourages them to really think about human history.
  • Great museum, very educational and not too large. Learnt a lot about the archaeological digs and the amazing finds near Burgos. Beautiful building, too. Very well laid out exhibition with lots of English explanations.
  • Very interesting place ! You can learn a lot of information of human, another planet and our evolution, also there are rooms where you can watch small films ( on Spanish )
  • Very interesting and fun museum if you want to expand your knowledge about our ancestors.
