Jardins de Alfabia, Bunyola
Categories: Gardens, Nature & Parks
Enjoy the calm gardens and rich history of Jardins de Alfabia. Walk through the gardens to take in the flowers, or stroll through the orchards before taking a seat by the lake. You can operate the fountains yourself, or visit the bar for a beer or a freshly squeezed orange juice. Children will appreciate the animals on site, including goats, a horse, a donkey, and geese. The house dates back to the 13th century, and provides a great deal of historical information. See the stables, an olive press, and several rooms set out as they would have been years ago, in typical Mallorquin style. There's a large oak chair from the 15th century that depicts the medieval tale of Tristan and Isolde. Interesting exhibition in the Manor House - unfortunately very little information about the history and the exhibited exhibits and spaces. Clean and well maintained facility. Unfortunately only partially labeled exotic plants. Highlight (not only) for children and thus a rare point of attraction for the young generation in a garden - the water games in the arcade, great fun!show original
