  • Very good excursions to see the bright and great stars on La Palma
  • We like to watch the Sky and follow the stars. Our principal objective by taking the tour was to learn to identify star position and eventually be able to use correctly our telescope. Well, this experience with Astro Tours greatly exceeded our expectations. When you get to altitude is almost as if you can reach for the stars, so close to them you are. La Palma in the Canaries, benefits of very clear air an clear sky, in fact some of the biggest observatories are placed here at 2400 mts above sea level. Our guide took us to a chosen place where it was expected to be able to appreciate the stars. just remember that even in summer temperatures are very low and you need to pack warm clothes as by standing still you feel even colder.
  • We had a visit program to the astronomical observatories the Roque de los Muchachos and the day before we take that had the Office of AstroLaPalma very near the apartment where we were, to inform us a bit or have previous recommendations to climb on the roof of the island. Ana Garcia attended us very kindly and we also said that there was possibility of bad weather on the day of our visit (fog and cold) and we decided to come up before on our own, to walk through the area of the Roque de los Muchachos. Lucky that we did, because in the end the visit was cancelled by rain. Many thanks for the care provided. We hope to return to La Palma and get us the spinettone to be able to visit some of the most important astronomical observatories in the world.
